ONIONS
Today, onions are one of the nature's healing food. Onions
contain carbohydrates 6:83%, a notable protein content of 1.16% while
the fat content is negligible 0.16%. All vitamins are present in small
quantity except vitamin B12. The notable mineral in onion is potassium.
Among these elements the most abundant is sulfur, which forms part of
the onions volatile essence. Onions contain essentials oil which is
responsible for the onion's typical odours. It is highly volatile, and
evaporates easily. Onions are rich in quercetin one of the most active
flavonoids. It has 1.8% vegetable fibers. The medicinal values of onion
are as follows:-

should not be more than one minute to retain its medicine value. Onion

into a paste, add a few spoonfuls of honey. You can as well chop raw
